We are based at the New Springs Ex-Servicemens Club @ Cale Lane, New Springs, Wigan, Gt manchester WN21HD We are affiliated to the North West Counties League, and in turn to British Amateur Rugby League Association BARLA.

We are a community based club and welcome anyone who wants to participate in any of our rugby teams Open-age, U18s U16s and U11s to contact NewSpringsLions on our contacts page. We have formed a new U10s team to add to our U11s team this season and wish to encourage local kids from local schools to be part of our setup.

From the M61 junction 6.
Leave the M61 at junction 6, towards Horwich ( Bolton football ground) exit. Follow signs towards Wigan. On the dual carriageway keep in right hand lane.
At the roundabout turn right (Blackrod/Chorley)
Continue along the road past a speed camera on your left, take the next left, past the park then take the first left (at the Poacher pub) sign-posted Wigan
Stay on this road for about 1 mile crossing 2 roundabouts together at the Queens pub towards Wigan. At approximately 1 mile at next traffic lights turn left onto Cale Lane. we are about 200 yards on the left.

From the M6 junction 25
Leave the M6 at juntion 25. Follow signs towards Wigan. At the exit roundabout turn left, get in the right hand lane, at the next roundabout turn right onto Poolstock Lane( B5238 ). Follow this road for about 3 miles then you come to a large set of traffic lights at a “T” junction. Rileys Snooker Club is in front of you. Turn right into middle lane. After 100m at next set of lights turn right into Greenough Street going up the hill. Keep in the left hand lane turn left onto Scholes at next traffic lights. Go straight through the next set of lights (Winsors shoe shop on the right) and through three sets of pedestrian lights past the Alexandra pub. At the next set of lights turn right onto Cale lane and we are about 150 yards on the left .
