New Springs Lions ARLFC History
We are a relatively new and ambitious Senior and Junior Rugby Club, who offer a great deal for the benefit of our local community. New Springs Legion Lions ARLFC support our members who play for our teams encouraging safety, discipline and respect.
We formed our own club in 1999 to provide something in our local area for our children. We had to start from the very beginning after being donated cellar space by our local Ex-Servicemen's Legion to convert into shower rooms.
Nine years on, and we now have 5 teams……. Open age, Under 18's, 16's, a mixed sex Under 11s and a newly formed mixed sex U10's. We are in the process of forming an U15s team and have ambitions of creating more junior teams for next season. We are proud of each and every one of our children, who wear our team colours with pride, and are highly regarded both locally, and by many of our rugby colleagues.
